• Managing self-care and caring for siblings when home alone.
• Creating a safe environment and handling phone calls and unexpected visitors.
• Reacting confidently in emergencies such as choking, bleeding, poisoning, or burns.
• Coping with common issues like tantrums and crying.
• Organizing games and activities to keep kids entertained.
• Managing a babysitting business, including:
  • Creating a resume and business card.
  • Asking the right questions before accepting a babysitting job.

First Aid Content

• Check, Call, Care
• Proper glove removal
• Recovery position
• Conscious choking (child/baby/alone)
• CPR techniques for babies and children
• Recognizing and managing illness
• Asthma management (including use of inhaler and spacer)
• Anaphylaxis response (including use of EpiPen)
• Poisoning management
• Handling insect stings
• Wound care (minor cuts, scrapes, splinters, nosebleeds, bumps, and bruises)
• Managing life-threatening bleeding
• Burn treatment
• Responding to broken bones
• Recognizing and managing seizures
