Cancellation Policy

We get it. Life happens. Here is everything you need to know if your plans change.

Please note:

A minimum of 5 business days’ notice is required for any course cancellations or rescheduling requests. A $30 administrative fee will apply to any rescheduled course to facilitate transfer to another date.

For blended courses, a non-refundable administrative fee of $75 will be charged upon cancellation to cover processing and course access costs.

Cancellation by participant

If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us as soon as possible. The following conditions apply:

• Cancellations received more than 5 business days before the course date are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations received fewer than 5 business days before the course date are non-refundable.
• No-shows on the day of training are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel a blended (online plus in-person) course, a non-refundable $75 administrative fee will be retained to cover online course access and processing costs, regardless of how much notice is given.

Rescheduling a course

Need to move to a different date? We are happy to transfer your registration, provided we receive at least 5 business days’ notice before your original course date.

Rescheduling fee: $30
This fee covers the administrative work of transferring your place and updating your course records. Rescheduling requests made with less than 5 business days’ notice cannot be accommodated, and the existing registration fee will be forfeited.

Cancellation by Sea to Sky First Aid Training

In the rare event that we need to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor illness or insufficient enrolment), you will be notified as soon as possible and offered:

• A transfer to the next available course date, at no extra charge, or
• A full refund of your registration fee.

We do our very best to avoid cancellations and appreciate your understanding when life gets in the way on our end, too.

Blended course fees summary

Blended courses include an online learning component that is activated upon registration. Because of this, a portion of the fee is non-refundable once the course has been confirmed.
